The working principle of the color difference meter is simply to simulate the visual system of the human eye. Using the analog integrated optical system inside the instrument, the tristimulus values of the spectral data are integrated to obtain the color data expression, thereby calculating the brightness index L * and The chromaticity index a *, b * value and the color difference of contrast chromaticity. When the color of the test product is easily compared with the color of the standard colorimetric solution specified by the instrument method, the parameter to be compared is the color of the blank control solution and the color of the test solution or its specified standard colorimetric solution in a uniform color space. Using instrumental methods to measure color, not only can accurately and quantitatively determine color and color difference, but also more scientific and objective than visual methods, and does not change with time, place, and personnel.
